In the verses preceding the above verses, we read that Creation, Believers, and the Holy Spirit groan because of life's suffering and pain. Believers may not always understand the reason for the tears, and questions may remain unanswered. God's Word tells us that He still cares and helps us; and that the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf. We have God's assurance that all things work together for good; and that He is conforming us to the image of His Son that we might be the firstborn among many brethren.
