Colossians

Our speaker during Family Bible Hour was Mr Pat Hughes, missionary to Poland. His message was based on Colossians 2:6 to 3:2.  He answers the question: How can we maintain our focus on Jesus Christ, in the midst of a very distracting and confusing world?

Our speaker for the Family Bible Hour was Mr Pat Hughes, missionary to Poland. He and his wife, Cindy, also did a presentation on their work in Poland during our evening Bible Study & Supper. His morning message was based on Hebrews 8

...We have such a high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens...But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises...

Summary: We have better promises based on a better covenant through Jesus our High Priest, who lives forever, and thus, can save forever. Do not let ritual replace the reality of the work of Jesus Christ
