Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Our Speaker during Family Bible Hour was Mr Bill Coyle.  Easter is not about colored eggs, the Easter bunny, or a new dress.  It's about a risen Saviour by whom all of scripture rests.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is important as it gives us an understanding of our salvation.  Here's the Gospel, the Good News, as written by Paul:

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto your first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures:  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. (1 Cor 15: 1-4)

We get to heaven by the grace of God, as we call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to save us:

...The word is nigh thee, even in they mouth, and in thy heart:  that is the word of faith which we preach;  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation...For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10: 8-10, 13).

The full message, in context, is available on DVD.

Easter Brunch was served after Breaking of Bread and before the Family Bible Hour.  Here are pictures of the event.  Thank You to all who made this possible.
